New looked England takes on deprived South Africa: Match Preview

International cricket are way hectic and they don’t give you chance to sunk up your sorrows and defeats. Just after three days of champions trophy, England are against South Africa for a triple match T20 series starting at June 21. Unlike the other T20 clash, this is a series of three matches and both teams will have fair amount of chances to excel in the series. Both teams have few notable names which have been rested and new looking squad are in picture. South Africa have rested Hashim Amla, Quinton de Kock, JP Duminy and Kagiso Rabada keeping in mind the test series. While Faf Du Plessis is away to South Africa awaiting the birth of his child. England on the other hand have rested their prime members who took them to the final of T20 namely Joe Root, Adil Rashid, Ben Stokes and Moeen Ali. This could mean that there is lot of opportunities for the new faces in both the squad. 

What: England vs South Africa, 21st June, 23:00 IST

Where: The Rose Bowl, Southampton.

What to expect: the match is supposed to be on the high scoring one and will have high amount of heat during most of the times.

Team Preview:

England: Jason Roy who was out of form in Champions trophy got to his form in the county game and he will be directly included in the playing eleven. Johnny Bairstow who did well as a replacement for Jason Roy should get another chance ahead of another young talent Livingstone. Mark Wood who is available for only one game will lead the pace attack. Liam Dawson and crane should form the spin duo in absence of Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid.

South Africa: with the absence of big names from the squad, JJ Smuts and Reeza Hendricks will open the batting. AB de Villiers and Wayne Parnell will be supposed to be go up the order. In the absence of Kagiso Rabada, Phehlukwayo will first time lead the attack.

Players in the Spotlight:

Eoin Morgan: in the absence of big names, Eoin Morgan would love to step up and take all command in his hand. The southpaw has been in good Nick and would love to score few runs against weekend south African bowlers.

AB de Villiers: the only renowned name in the current South African squad is that of AB de Villiers, he had forgettable champions trophy and would love to score few runs in the shorter format to boost his confidence.

Match Prediction: England are the firm favorite to win the match while the new Looking South African team might stole the show.
