They had the smoothest of the season so far before getting crushed in the previous match. On the other hand, Rising Pune Supergiant have come back ever so strongly after three successive losses. They are now performing like a unit and in last match Ben Stokes while hitting up his maiden IPL ton pulled out a miracle run chase against Gujarat Lions. They beat Gujarat Lions for the first time in Indian premier league and now are currently placed at the fourth position with six wins in 10 games. Rising Pune Supergiant will be under the scanner when they face Kolkata Knight Riders at an away games with whole crowd support inclined towards KKR.

Kolkata Knight Riders: the great news is the Chris Lynn started practicing and he had done so for the first time after his injury. Kolkata Knight Riders are unlikely to make any changes and the most prominent change which can occur is of Shakib Al Hasan in place of Colin de grandhomme.
