After a break of four days, Gujarat Lions are back to lock horns with Rising Pune Supergiant. Both are the newest of the franchise in Indian Premier league and this year both teams are struggling to find a momentum to go through. Especially Gujarat Lions who have lost both their games due to their poor bowling show. On the other hand, Rising Pune Supergiant is slightly ahead by winning one match out of their three contests. In the last match, they were thrashed by Delhi daredevils by a huge margin. Both teams are placed in the lowest two seats of the table and would love to gain some momentum. Ravindra Jadeja and Steven Smith both would be back to their respective teams and this a positive sign for the team.

Last time they played: Rising Pune Supergiant despite putting up a total of 195 for 3 at the end of their innings courtesy to a fine century by Steven smith were on the losing side. Team Preview:

Gujarat Lions: Last season table toppers Gujarat Lions are searching for a win this year and in both the games they performed terribly with the ball to be on the losing side. With Ravindra Jadeja back in the side bowling as well as batting will get little strengths. Heath Streak their head bowling coach said that they would like to strengthen their bowling more which means James Faulkner or Andrew Tye could get a game in place of Aaron Finch. Gujarat’s bowling this season have been so weak that they have only claimed one wicket in two matches. Ravindra Jadeja inclusion will mean Shivil Kaushik can be axed from the squad.

Probable XI: Brendon Mccullum, Jason Roy, Dinesh Karthik, Suresh Raina, Dwayne Smith, Aaron Finch/ James Faulkner/ Andrew Tye, Ravindra Jadeja, Praveen Kumar, Dhaval Kulkarni/Nathu Singh, Munaf Patel/Pradeep Sangwan, Shivil Kaushik
