The auction for the season 10 of Vivo Ipl saw all the records getting shattered as there was the battle to grab the best choice of players. More than 350 players both domestic, as well as international ones, went under the hammer of Ipl auction. The team management of daredevils has taken care to make the squad full of youthful talents. The ninth season was not very much in the favor of the Daredevils and they were out from the competition in the round robin phase. Winning 7 out of 14 games last year, Delhi franchise ended their season ranking sixth. From the last season, Daredevils have retained as much as 18 players. So at the auction, Delhi Daredevils major duty was to fill the slots which were left empty after the exclusions. They also needed a backup for the fast bowling duo of Zaheer Khan and Mohammed Shami. Duminy opting out of Ipl is the latest misery for the Daredevils team.
